Permits for Field #3

Below are the permits for our games on field #3 of the great lawn.  Coaches, please bring a copy of these, and the permits to field #4 to all of your games.  We recently had an incident where a group of people playing a pickup game refused to leave the field during one of our scheduled games without seeing a copy of our Parks Department permit.

Coaches!

Please remember to communicate with the opposing team’s coach the day of your game.  Check in with each other regarding weather, who is the home/visiting team, what time your game starts and on what field, who is bringing bases & cones or providing the game ball.

According to league rules, the visiting team brings the bases and the home team provides a new game ball, but last week we had a mixup over who was home vs. away, where the schedule I emailed you conflicted with the calendar-style schedule I posted here.  Which was totally my fault.  However, this could have been prevented had the coaches talked about this detail beforehand.  It is surprisingly easy to mis-read or mis-remember the schedule.

In the event of a conflict between what is posted here and what appears on the schedule emailed to the coaches, please follow the schedule emailed to the team coaches as an excel file.  Thank you.
